The AWM web site receives over 10,000 visitors per month (and growing!), and these visitors are primarily female mathematicians and statisticians, both students and practitioners. Aim your advertisements and announcements at this focused group.

Online Advertising Guidelines

AWM accepts online advertisements of interest to the AWM membership. All institutions and programs advertising on the AWM Web Site must be Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity designated.
Ads are posted within one day of confirmed start date of your choice, with 1 week's advance notice required, although ASAP requests can usually be accommodated in 1-2 days. Quoted prices are for the period of 60 days. Rates subject to change without notice.
AWM Institutional Sponsors and AWM Academic Institutional Memberships receive free ads and discounts up to 50%!
Choose from two types of online advertising services: Classified and Job Link. The information here applies to these online services. Two types of print ads are also available: Classified and Display. See "About Advertising in our Newsletter" for print media advertising.
All ads are non-commissionable.

Online Classified Ads
$0.03 per word, per day, $28 for graphic

HTML tags are not included in the word count, and links are free of charge, minimum: $165 for 92 words for 60 days. Art must be submitted electronically as a gif or jpeg image at 72 dpi and no larger than 100x100 pixels. The maximum file size is 20kb.

Online Job Link Ads
$1.85 flat rate per day

Job link ads include organization name, job title, and a link to web site where the complete ad resides (on your site). Minimum: $110 for 60 days.

How to Place an Online Ad

To place an online ad, use the AWM Online Ad Submission Form or send an email to ads@awm-math.org containing the following information: ad type (classified or job link), the text of the ad (classified) or link title (job link) including hyperlinks, the graphic (if any), and the desired posting dates or duration of the ad. Include your name, address, email, phone number, and fax number for billing purposes. A quote will be issued for your approval via email.
